I think most people in Singapore have noticed a big number of Donut outlets springing up everywhere and the massive queues that form a jam like the customs checking for Mas Selamat at the checkpoints.

It’s crazy!

There were donuts way in the past and not many seemed to appreciate them back then. Dunkin’ Donuts anyone? Even your everyday bakeries are now trying to ride on this donut wave!

Fluffy rings of baked dough and icings or toppings of all sorts on top of them.

YUMMILICIOUS!

I finally could not resist and had to get a doughnut of my own.

My tingling tail says the donuts most probably is another fad and it will fade away. Just like Bubble Tea, Luohan Fishes, Roasted Chestnuts and Coffee Buns.
